Our involvement with Round Square is something we are very proud of at Wilderness School, as it supports us in achieving our Wilderness mission: to enable every girl to be the best they can be throughout their life.

Last Friday, our School had a special opportunity to celebrate our highest achieving student of the Class of 2022—which is an impressive achievement, considering the calibre of all our students’ hard-earned results.

Welcome all to the new school year. I hope that you had a happy summer break with your families and friends.

Here at Wilderness, we are always thinking about the future, and always well in advance.

As of this afternoon, our Year 12 students have reached the halfway mark of their exam period. I am sure that each student has entered the exam rooms with a mixture of understandable nervousness and hopefully, quiet confidence, due to the significant preparation and effort they have put in.

Today is World Teachers’ Day, which is a fitting day to thank our teaching staff for everything they do in the life of our school; their efforts extend beyond the classroom in many ways.

Tomorrow, a small cohort of adventurous learners (including six students and two staff) will return home to Australia after attending the Round Square International Conference.

Caring for each other, in particular our girls, is core to our purpose at Wilderness School. We have always been a community where unlimited kindness and respectful relationships are fundamental.
