As we reach the end of another successful year at Wilderness, I want to thank our students, staff and families for the energy, commitment and positivity you bring to our community.

The start of Term 4 is always both eventful and deeply meaningful. In just the first three weeks, our community has gathered for occasions across the School, from Grandfriends’ Day in the Junior School to Year 12 celebrations and Old Scholar reunions.

Term 3 has been full and rewarding, with a wide range of cultural, sporting, and academic experiences. In recent weeks, students and staff have taken part in activities that reflect the strong engagement, curiosity, and collaborative spirit that characterise learning at Wilderness.

As we commence Term 3, there is much to acknowledge and celebrate at Wilderness, the opening of state-of-the-art facilities, the appointment of new staff who bring valuable expertise and renewed energy to our community, significant advancements in strategically aligned curriculum development, and the continued accomplishments of our students.

Term 2 has provided the Wilderness School community with many poignant opportunities to reflect and engage deeply with our past and future.

The generosity of our Wilderness community has a lasting impact, bringing to life meaningful initiatives like the Kitchen Garden, where learning truly flourishes.

This week we have joined the globe in recognising and celebrating International Women’s Day.

It’s been wonderful to connect with so many families around campus and at School events over the past few weeks.

As our milestone year comes to a close, I am grateful for the opportunities that we have taken to celebrate our traditions and our heritage.
