It is hard to believe we are already halfway through Term 1, and, with restrictions lifting across the state, we have been able to safely manage some of the implications this has had for the School and finally offer some wonderful excursions.

It is lovely to see all students back at Wilderness, embracing the important lesson that all challenges can be faced and overcome with resilience, persistence, and collaboration.

Since its formation, Wilderness has raised courageous, kind and capable young women who have the capacity and knowledge to live lives of purpose.

What a send-off from our beautiful girls. I was delighted to learn that this years SRC big lunch was to be held in my honour.

It is the girls who make our School what it is. However, more widely, it is also the wonderful community that make Wilderness such a beautiful place to be.

Spring has finally arrived and the Wilderness grounds have come to life with blossoming trees and beautiful greenery covering Browns’ House.

In her address to the 2012 graduating class at their Valedictory Dinner, Mrs Judy Dyson said: “I firmly believe that with humility and compassion, you have a great power – the power to take others with you in the quest for a better world".

At Wilderness School we promote and nurture our core values, in particular Respectful Relationships.

Leadership is an integral part of the Wilderness spirit and deeply embedded in our girls’ journey.
