Learning over the past two weeks has seen our Mamie girls welcome ‘Sparkles’, our male butterfly (identified by the girls due to his distinctive spots), into the world.

On Thursday 3 June, our Citizenship Committee recognised National Reconciliation Week with a whole school assembly.

Since our earliest days, Wilderness girls have participated in generous service to the community.

Early this week, the Alliance of Girls’ Schools Australasia held the 2021 Summit on Girl’s Education.

It has been wonderful welcoming our girls back to school for the start of their next academic term. Already, they have enjoyed an array of opportunities.

This term has provided our girls with a return to a more familiar rhythm with the opportunity to restore several Wilderness activities and traditions that 12 months ago were on the verge of being postponed or cancelled.

On Friday 5 March, Wilderness School was thrilled to host over 170 students from 10 schools for SA’s Alliance of Girls Schools International Women’s Day Breakfast.

As we approach International Women’s Day (IWD) on Monday 8 March 2021, the Wilderness School community will continue its long history of celebrating and acknowledging the successes and achievements of women in our local, national and global community.

We are already at the end of Week 3 and it has been such a pleasure to witness the rhythms and routines of school life quickly get under way.
