It is the girls who make our School what it is. However, more widely, it is also the wonderful community that make Wilderness such a beautiful place to be.

We understand that moving from the teachers and educators you know, trust and love, into a new class with new teachers and friends can be both challenging and emotional – and this is just for you as parents!

It has been a busy fortnight in the Junior School as classes prepare to attend upcoming camps, with the preparation of our Sports Day, and teachers and girls deep in our assessment and reporting cycle for Semester 2.

The past few weeks have had a particular spotlight on our Year 7 girls.

After we said farewell the Year 12 girls at the end of Week 2, they have been busy studying and preparing for their final SACE examinations, which started this week.

The formal celebrations for the Year 12 boarders commenced with the Boarders Last Supper, which marks the last time the boarding community of 2021 will all be present to share an evening meal.

After the disappointment of last week's cancellation due to weather, we were so fortunate to be blessed with a beautiful day to hold the 2021 Junior School Sports Day.

One of the pleasures of being a Drama teacher is being able to inspire young people to use their creativity to have a voice and inspire audiences to imagine other worlds and futures.

Thank you to all those in our community who attended the Wilderness School Foundation Gala Dinner last Saturday evening, an event hosted by the Foundation in support of the School’s scholarship program.

After the Year 12 Leavers' Day celebrations, we received some lovely feedback from the Coutsoumbes family thanking the community for the amazing display of love and support during the celebrations.
