The Years 10 to 12 students who are attending the Nepal Trek in 2024 are working with Wilderness in Nepal (WIN) to organise a fundraiser called ‘Walk Everest in a Day’ at Belair National Park.

The 8,848m walk (8.84km) through Belair National Park matches the height of Mount Everest. Check your progress against significant peaks around the world and when you reach the "summit" of Mount Everest, relax at the Main Oval with a hot drink and food which will be available for purchase. There will be a raffle with prizes donated by Wilderness community members.

The funds raised will support the Health Post at Bhaduare School and the community. It would be amazing to see as many Wilderness girls and families at this event to support our friends in Nepal.

Students can also seek sponsorship from friends and families to complete the walk to help raise additional funds. There will be a prize for the student who raises the most funds. To receive a sponsorship card, please email Ms Rosie Smith.
