Celebrating the Class of 2025
This term has been one of reflection and celebration for our Year 12s as they concluded their time at Wilderness with a series of events honouring their journey, culminating in the Valedictory Dinner.
Throughout the year, this cohort has exemplified their theme of SPARK through their energy, curiosity, and shared commitment to one another. Their strong sense of connectedness has been evident in every aspect of school life, from daily interactions to the way they have supported one another through challenges and achievements.
The Walk of Honour was particularly moving, capturing the warmth and gratitude felt across the school community. It served as a reminder of the special bonds that unite our students and of the lasting impact they leave on those who follow in their footsteps.
This year’s Valedictory Dinner, held with the theme Monet’s Garden, provided a beautiful setting to celebrate the Class of 2025. The event was brought to life by the creativity of our Marketing Department, whose floral decorations, created with the help of a group of Student Foundation girls, transformed the venue into a stunning garden.
We were joined at the Valedictory by the dedicated Year 12 teachers and staff who have guided and encouraged the girls throughout their final year. Their support, care, and professionalism have been invaluable.
As our Year 12s prepare for their upcoming examinations, we wish them every success. They leave Wilderness ready to contribute their own spark to the world beyond our gates. Though their time as students draws to a close, Wilderness will always remain a place of belonging, a community that will continue to welcome them home, Always True.
SRC Changeover
At the start of the term, we held our SRC Changeover Assembly. This service is particularly special as we thank the outgoing 2025 SRC and induct our incoming 2026 SRC. The 2026 SRC have already begun planning their theme and the SRC Big Lunch, which will be held later this term. Orders for ribbons and the SRC Big Lunch will be available on Flexischools soon.
