It’s been wonderful to connect with so many families around campus and at School events over the past few weeks.

The Parents and Friends Welcome Drinks is always a reminder of the strength of our community. Events like this provide an invaluable opportunity for us to connect, build relationships, and strengthen the supportive network and respectful relationships that make Wilderness so special.

The sense of belonging and shared commitment to our girls’ education creates an environment where girls can thrive, knowing they are supported by a network with shared values.

Thank you to all those who helped organise and volunteer for the evening. In the decade since the event began, this year’s Welcome Drinks was one of the most well attended and successful yet.

I would also like to acknowledge all those staff who have been generously serving the Wilderness community for 15, 20 and even 30 years. This dedication is another testament to this special place.

I am truly grateful to every member of our community for the role you play in the learning and wellbeing of our girls.

Pave the Way 2025

Pave the Way 2025
The support for our Pave the Way campaign has been remarkable. Thank you to those families past and present who have already contributed to a named paver just outside of our upcoming Reception classrooms in the Coach House. When our Old Scholars return to campus, they take great pride in finding their special named tile in the garden near the Green Door- a meaningful way to leave a legacy, and we know that this new paved space can create that same sense of belonging for a new generation of girls. There is still some time to add your own legacy to the Lower Junior School precinct by purchasing a paver engraved with your daughter’s name. You can secure your paver today by clicking below.

VERUS
We are looking forward to sharing more of Verus with you. In coming weeks, you will see student assessments, due work and grades. This feature complements our teaching and learning philosophy of working side by side with families to support the learning journey of our girls.

Parents are encouraged to support their daughter in processing feedback, promoting a deeper engagement with her learning. By embracing Verus, we are reinforcing our commitment to a learning culture where feedback enables every student to be her best.

Kind regards,
Belinda Arnfield
Principal
