Considering a Career in Medicine or Dentistry?
Students considering a career in medicine or dentistry, during Year 12 will need to sit a compulsory entry exam known as UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test) before they can apply for relevant placements in these fields of study within most universities in Australia.

    Year 10 Defence Force Work Experience program

    Defence Work Experience SA 2025

    The Defence Force has released its 2025 Work Experience Programs. These are competitive opportunities, so applications should be completed thoroughly, like a job application.

    Key programs include:
    🔹 Defence Assistance Placement (for students with disabilities) – starts Wednesday, 26 March 2025

    🔹 Aviation Program for Women – now includes overnight stays on base (two intakes in August)

    These dates may not align with Wilderness Work Experience (Wednesday24–Friday 26 September), but if successful, we can discuss alternate arrangements with Mrs Hanson and the Career office.
