Year 7 Camp

The Year 7 Form groups enjoyed a week of fun water-based activities on their camp. It was wonderful that the girls were able to return to Crawford and spend time forming relationships with their Form, Form teachers and Heads of House. Thank you to the staff for making the camp so successful and to Miss Rosie Smith and the Outdoor Education team for leading such a valuable experience.

NAPLAN Year 7 and 9

NAPLAN information for families with daughters in Years 7 and 9 is available on SEQTA Engage. The timetable for testing during Weeks 7 and 8 is as follows:

  • Wednesday 15 March: Writing
  • Thursday 16 March: Reading
  • Friday 17 March: Conventions of Language
  • Monday 20 March: Numeracy

All tests will be completed at the beginning of the day. Any catch-up testing will occur by the end of Week 8.

Last week, girls took part in a coordinated practice test. The public demonstration site has test examples for each year level if you are interested in looking at the format of the tests.

Ethics Olympiad

Congratulation to the girls who competed in this year’s international Ethics Olympiad final. They competed with schools from around the world via Zoom and worked successfully as a team. Ms Alison Short has been coaching the girls since last year and the girls were excited to share their day with Mrs Simone Burzacott-Gorman.
