Engineers Australia
Engineers Australia is the trusted voice of the engineering profession, which is committed to creating solutions to make the world a better place. When students are doing their research about studying engineering at university, it is useful to pay attention to which courses are accredited by Engineers Australia.
Completing an accredited course means that graduates of that course are eligible to become members of Engineers Australia.

Economics Explored
What does a career in economics look like? Whether you’re interested in government, private enterprise or social sciences, the world of economics is as vast as it is inspiring.
The University of Queensland has a useful online resource for students interested in economics. Students are encouraged to visit Economics Explored and watch a couple of interesting YouTube clips and read through some Q & A‘s.
Students can even get a taste of tertiary economics with UQ’s short courses in economic fundamentals so they can understand how economics relates to everyday life.

ADF Gap Year 2023
Applications for the 2023 ADF Gap Year are now open. An ADF Gap Year is a unique opportunity for students to experience life in the Navy, Army, or Air Force, without making a long-term commitment.
The skills obtained through the ADF Gap year program will provide valuable work and life experience and are completely transferable. It will help students develop their confidence for their next endeavours.
Eligibility:
- Australian citizen
- 18-24 years at the point of completing initial training
- Completion of year 12 with the passes required for the role you are applying for
- Meet fitness and medical requirements
Students who take part in the ADF Gap Year program:
- Gain valuable skills ad work experience
- Enjoy a great salary package plus free healthcare
