We are already at the end of Week 3 and it has been such a pleasure to witness the rhythms and routines of school life quickly get under way. Our new students have settled in, connecting with friends and teachers and our returning students have responded positively to the expectations and aspirations of their new classes. I am pleased that throughout the School there is a sense of hope and optimism for the year ahead.

For the first time in 12 months, it was wonderful to hold a social event on campus and to welcome many new and familiar faces to our Parent Welcome Drinks on Friday evening. Being able to enjoy each other’s company and catch up in person is something we have missed dearly.

To ensure our community stays connected and informed we have redesigned our Life in the Wilderness newsletter and will be distributing it to parents on a fortnightly basis. It will provide the primary forum in which we will celebrate the girls' achievements and communicate our School calendar for the coming weeks.

I ask that you access this publication for important information relating to your daughter’s learning and co-curricular activities. We are hoping that the newsletter will reduce the number of emails we send to you and provide a ‘one stop shop’ to access important dates and details about upcoming events and activities.

I hope you enjoy the first edition for 2021 and the many more to come.
