The SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education) Board has recently launched their ‘We Are More’ campaign, a pivotal component of their THRIVE strategic plan. This campaign emphasises the importance of recognising every student's unique strengths and capabilities.

The past two weeks in our ELC have been exciting, engaging and thought provoking as the girls have been immersed in Science Week and Book Week.

What a wonderful period of celebration and innovation we have had in the Junior School in the past three weeks! Our Junior School girls thoroughly enjoyed opportunities to wonder, hypothesise and experiment during Science Week.

The Middle School SRC held a very successful social, attended by students from Wilderness, Prince Alfred College and St Peter’s College. The theme of the evening was ‘Disco’.

One of the key capabilities we aim to cultivate in all of our girls is leadership capacity. Over the past two weeks, there has been a focus on student leadership as we elected our 2024 Student Representative Council, while the Year 10 and Year 11 girls have been involved with yLead in leadership development programs.

Recently, our Year 12 boarders ventured off on a paintballing adventure with Miss Mary Smith and Miss Jina Chen.

Last week saw us line up against Seymour College for our annual Winter Intercol. The week was contested in a great spirit and saw lots of close fixtures between the two schools.

Wednesday 16 August in Week 4 was the inaugural Round Square Day, which saw us raise approximately $1000 for the Round Square Discovery Fund.

The Uniform Shop will change over the winter uniform to summer uniform in the coming weeks. Summer uniform will be available from Week 8, Monday 11 September.
