Last week I had the privilege of visiting the beautiful Eyre Peninsula for the Cleve Field Days and connecting with our Wilderness families in the region. As I have commented to many parents recently, I love the chance to learn more about our regions and their people, communities and industries. Bringing more of the ‘home experience’ into our girls' day-to-day lives is something that I continue to strive towards for our girls and learning more about our regions helps me to consider how we can achieve this.

Wildy Neon Social

Our gym was filled with energy and vibrance as we welcomed senior boarders from eight schools around Adelaide for the first Interschool Social of the year. It was wonderful to see our girls lead the way with this initiative and have the event come to fruition. Thanks to the courage and determination of our Year 12 students, who proposed the idea in Term 2, we enjoyed a funky flashback to the 80s through our neon theme. The dance floor was a favourite place to be, while face painting, the photobooth and refreshments provided a break from the night's high energy.

Swimming Carnival

Our Boarders came out in full force at last week’s Swimming Carnival, winning the Day girls vs Boarders event. Well done to Sachi Syme (Year 12), Jess Shultz (Year 12), Safara Moyse (Year 12), Bridie Mickan (Year 12), Eliza Corbin (Year 12), Millie Shepherd (Year 11), Portia Martin (Year 11) and Imogen Hawker (Year 9). The trophy now sits proudly in the Boarding House. Congratulations girls!
