We are excited to welcome you back for Term 3. Although the year is flying by, your daughters have already achieved so much, along with the educational team, who worked tirelessly on the journey of continuous improvement and settling into our beautiful new home. We are optimistic about all we will continue to achieve in the second semester.
There are numerous special events in Term 3, which we will give you more information about closer to the time, however, please see below for some dates for your information.
Term 3 commences on or after Wednesday 24 July
We will be opening our ELC doors again from 8:15am on Wednesday 24 July. We cannot wait to catch up on your holidays and note how much your girls will have grown and changed over the three weeks.
Week 4 Science Week
Monday 12 August – Friday 16 August Throughout Science Week, the girls will participate in many thought-provoking activities that aim to ignite their interest in the subject. We look forward to sharing these experiments and investigations with you. If you have an interest in, or career in science that you would be able to share with the girls, we would love for you to visit. It has been said before, ‘’The girls cannot be what they cannot see.’ If you have questions about what this might entail, please do not hesitate to speak to one of the teaching team.
Week 5 Book Week
Monday 19 August – Friday 23 August
** Book Week Parade – Thursday 22 August – all invited **
Undoubtedly, the most exciting event during Book Week is the dress-up day and parade. This will be held in our School Gym on Thursday 22 August from 8:40am – 9:00am.
All girls are invited to attend the parade, regardless of whether it is their booked day of attendance. Parents, siblings, and family members can also join us in the Gym for this special event. We will have more information closer to the time, but please note the time of the parade if you wish to participate.
Week 7 – Show Day Holiday and Father’s Day Breakfast
On Monday 2 September, our ELC will be closed for the Show Holiday.
However, we will be very keen to welcome you back on Tuesday 3 September for our ELC Father’s Day Breakfast, which we will host from 8:15am – 8:45am. This event will be the same as the Mother’s Day Breakfast. Again, more information and reminders will follow.
Wow, this is certainly set to be a wonderful term, so we hope you are all ready to commence next week.
As always, a reminder to be extra mindful of road safety as we return to campus to keep all of us safe.
