We are looking forward to seeing the girls back for Semester 2. In preparation for the new term, I have listed some reminders below.

Uniform
Blazers must be worn to and from school. Please check that your daughter’s skirt is knee-length or longer, as she may have grown over the holiday break. Earrings should be small studs or sleepers; no dangling charms or hoops are permitted. We ask that all girls give their school shoes a clean during the break.

Student Drivers
All student drivers are required to submit a Permission to Drive form. Please complete this for the new term if your daughter will be driving to school.

Stage 2 Examinations
Stage 2 mid-year exams will be held at Wilderness from Monday – Thursday in Week 1.

The girls will require their school-allocated device, with the app DigiExam installed for their exams. Matthew Hawkins has communicated exam information to the girls. Please speak to Mr Hawkins mhawkins@wilderness.com.au if you have any questions or concerns.

Year 10s

Year 11s
Relationships Day
In Week 1, all Year 11s will be attending Relationships Day at Saint Peter’s College, Hackney. The girls will require a packed lunch, although a sausage sizzle will be operating, with cash/card facilities. The girls should be wearing PE uniform; only official Wilderness items are permitted (eg. no Lululemon shorts). We will be taking the girls on a bus to and from Saint Peter’s College. If you would like to arrange alternative transport, please notify the Senior School Office before Wednesday so that we can update our records.

Year 11 Retreat
We will be heading off to the retreat on Monday 29th July at 8:30am. Please send your daughter with a packed recess on the day. The girls will require their full winter school uniform on Tuesday, as we will be visiting Flinders University’s city campus. We appreciate your assistance in ensuring that all girls have the correct items packed. Laptops, mobile phones and other such devices are not permitted on camp. While we anticipate arriving back at 3:30pm, we cannot guarantee that girls will be back in time to catch usual bus services.

Year 12s

Year 12 Combined Tertiary Information Night - Tuesday 30th July
The Year 12 Combined Tertiary Information Night for Year 12 students and parents of Wilderness School, St Peter's College and Pembroke School will be hosted by Pembroke School this year. Year 12 students and their parents are invited to attend.  South Australian and interstate university and TAFE representatives will be present. Information has been emailed out – please contact Caroline Palmer if you have any questions.

As always, a reminder to be extra mindful of road safety as we return to campus to keep all of us safe.
