Immersing the girls in nature play experiences has continued to be at the very heart of our ELC curriculum this term.

Inspired by the learning that took place at Wittunga Botanic Gardens in Term 3, the Annie girls have revisited and extended upon the activities in their very own beautiful, natural environment.

The Mamie girls have also continued learning about the importance of respecting and preserving nature through their participation in Nature Play SA’s ‘Natural Elements’ incursion on Tuesday 19 October.

This learning was linked to the girls’ own Mamie/Uno’s Garden, which was sparked by their interest in the story of Uno’s Garden, by Graeme Base.

Once again, Nature Play SA led an excellent multi-sensory, play-based learning experience for the girls, which focussed on developing their STEM thinking dispositions and encouraging them to be active explorers of the natural world.
