A supernova is a phenomenon where two stars collide. I like to think that happens in a positive way on a daily basis, here at Wilderness. Our girls are all stars, in their unique and individual ways and we encourage them to celebrate these facets of themselves continuously.

Last Friday, our Early Learning Centre had the honour of sharing a truly special moment. The annexe and lawn were filled with laughter, joy, and a sense of community as we welcomed the Year 12 girls for their traditional final breakfast before they embarked on their farewell walk through the school in their altered uniforms.

Our girls right across the Junior School have engaged in a wide variety of excursions, incursions and showcases, as well as preparing for our ever nearing end of year celebrations.

The Year 9 Forms have been looking for opportunities to complete their service hours for the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh.

This term has been a memorable one for our Year 12s, marked by special events to honour their journey, culminating in the Valedictory evening—a formal farewell to the Class of 2024. Saying goodbye is never easy, but at Wilderness, it’s never really goodbye. It’s simply a ‘farewell,’ as our students set forth on new adventures.

On Friday November 1 we will be hosting out annual Junior School Sports Day down at the Parklands. Our girls are very excited and have been practicing during their PE lessons with Mr Henderson and Mrs Keller.

Music Instrumental Concerts: Across week 5 (11-14 November) our instrumental concerts will be running every night in the Mitchell Music Centre.

This term we welcome back 3 of our exchange students, each of whom has had an amazing time in their chosen country. Please read about Tam’s exchange below.
