Last Friday, our Early Learning Centre had the honour of sharing a truly special moment. The annexe and lawn were filled with laughter, joy, and a sense of community as we welcomed the Year 12 girls for their traditional final breakfast before they embarked on their farewell walk through the school in their altered uniforms. It was a beautiful sight to see our youngest students celebrating and congratulating these soon-to-be graduates, showering them with gifts and rose petals as they made their way along the path.

This occasion reminded us of the journey from ELC to Year 12—a path that can feel both endless and fleeting. One moment, they are our curious, wide-eyed little ones, and before we know it, they have grown into confident, accomplished young women, ready to take on the world. Even if you do not know the Year 12s passing by, this moment carries such powerful emotions—a mixture of pride, wonder, and gratitude. To see our capable, confident youngest girls standing alongside our inspiring Year 12 students highlights the transformative journey that Wilderness School nurtures every step of the way.

Our mission is to enable every girl to be the best she can be throughout her life, guided by the dedication, commitment, and passion of every teacher along the way. This collective spirit—unified, yet celebrating each girl's individuality—helps overcome the bumps along the way and creates an everlasting impact. We are so proud of our youngest students for cheering on our Year 12 girls with such warmth, and we are endlessly proud of our graduating class for all they have become. The journey is long, yet it passes in the blink of an eye—and every moment is worth celebrating.
