I had the pleasure of joining our Middle School boarders for the Adelaide Oval Roof Climb. The activity was a great opportunity for our youngest boarders to stretch outside of their comfort zone and I was so pleased to see all the girls fully embrace the challenge and joy that the activity brought them. Witnessing each of the girls complete the ‘lean back’ activity gave me the encouragement to have a go myself. The lean back activity requires roof climbers to lean out over the edge of the Riverbank Stadium—putting our fear to the test.
On the weekend, a group of Wildy boarders ventured to Adelaide Oval to witness the Crows defeat the Suns with Boarding Supervisor, Ms Sophie Smith. We look forward to continuing our weekly activities, including Tuesday morning Cibo walks, Tuesday evening self-defence and Wednesday afternoon Pilates. Our first Pilates session last week was a great success with girls enjoying a 45-minute introduction session.
