Year 12 Mid-Year Exams
With Semester 2 drawing to a close, the girls in the Senior School have been busy finalising their assessment pieces and for the Year 10 and 11s, completing their exams. In our final week of term, we looked at subject pathway information, with our parent information session on Monday evening and presentations from Heads of Departments to the girls during the school week. While the last few weeks have been focused on academics, Week 9 is exciting as the girls prepare for Glee on the final day of term.
We also farewell Ms Alison Robertson, a pivotal Senior School English teacher at Wilderness for 23 years. Ms Robertson’s contribution has been highly valued by the girls and English Faculty and we wish her well in her retirement.
Next term we start with Year 12 trial exams in Week 1, the Year 11 Retreat in Week 2, SRC elections and subject selections. I hope that you have an enjoyable break and I look forward to seeing the girls back and refreshed in Term 3.

Niya Singhal (11) competed in the Senior Division for the state final of Rostrum Voice of Youth, speaking on the topic, ‘The Masks We Wear’.
