With Term 3 underway, we have already been enjoying a range of activities and events. The Year 11s enjoyed their Retreat last week and participated in Healthy Relationships Day in Week 1. This week we are celebrating Maths Week and Intercol is around the corner in Week 5.

Our Senior School girls have continued to represent their sports in a range of areas. Some of the recent accomplishments include Molly Dwyer receiving the Player of the Match Award for the semi-final at the Hockey Australia Under 18 Championships. Isabel Jackson will be representing Australia in the U20 Lacrosse in Hong Kong. Caitlin Hardin won a Bronze medal with the School Sport SA State Under 16 Basketball Team and Iris Newman won her Grand Final and was crowned National Champions with her Under 15 State Football Team.

Year 11 Retreat
In Week 2, the Year 11s attended a retreat at Nunyara in Belair. The retreat focused on teamwork, stewardship and leadership. Some of the activities that the Year 11s enjoyed were a visit to Jurlique Farm, Survivor tribe activities and a day at the new Flinders University City Campus. We enjoyed listening to guest speaker Gen Reuger, a Black Hawk helicopter pilot, who is currently an MFS firefighter.

Year 12 Trial Exams
Year 12 Trial Exams were held in Week 1. Reports for these examinations will be sent home via SEQTA this week.

Year 10 and 11 Course Counselling
This week we held Course Counselling interviews for all girls in Years 10 and 11. These interviews were conducted by our trained course counsellors. Following these interviews, the final course selections are due via Edval by Friday 16 August. Please reach out to the Senior School Office if you have any questions.

An important reminder that Monday 2 September, Show Day, is a pupil free day at Wilderness School.
