Year 7 Come and Try Athletics Afternoon
To ensure that students can confidently nominate for events in the upcoming Athletics Carnival and safely compete, a Come and Try afternoon was held for the Year 7 students. Thank you to Mr Koutsikas for organising this successful event and to all the teachers who helped supervise and run the activities on the day.

Maths Week
During Week 3, Maths Week was held in the school. The main idea of the week was to celebrate all the different ways we use mathematics in our everyday lives. Girls took part in a variety of activities including a scavenger hunt, board games and puzzles, craft making, a darts competition and a pie making competition. Around 100 girls also competed in the Australian Maths Competition.

Well done to all that took part.

Dawn Davies
Head of Mathematics

Cedar Olympic Activity
Cedar 2025 House Captain nominees led an Olympic theme activity where each Form group would work together to design a cake inspired by an Olympic event. The event brought girls closer to each other through the planning and design of the cake decorations, and importantly they got to eat the cake after!

Online Safety - Safe on Social
Safe on Social have produced a free guide called Protecting Children from Tik Tok Dangers. The guide gives insights from experts on how to communicate with your child about online safety and the importance of responsible online behaviour. It provides clear and actionable steps about how to manage accounts, set privacy controls and monitor activity.

According to the Tik Tok Youth Safety and Well-Being statement, only individuals 13 years or over can start an account. As a family you should openly discuss use of social media platforms and online safety.
