Year 2 Outdoor Education Trip

Thank you to all our community members who participated in this year's Mother's Day Classic. This event is a long-standing tradition for our school, and it was wonderful to see it continue to thrive in 2021. Together we had over 40 students, teachers and parents combine as a team to join the fight against breast cancer by walking/running together on Sunday 7 May.

We are also pleased to announce that we have been named the Mothers Day Class 2021 Largest School Winner for the 10th time. A truly wonderful result!

Class Representatives

Each year we are blessed with a number of parents who kindly raise their hand and take on the role of a Class Representative. To thank them for their time and willingness to volunteer, we were pleased to hold an intimate event with the Parents and Friends Committee on Monday 3 May, where we were able to recognise them for their generous contribution in ensuring our year levels remain connected outside of the school gates over the course of the year.

We are pleased to share Sarah Abbott has happily put up her hand to take on the role of Year 6 Class Representative this year. We look forward to sharing her event plans with the cohort.

On Saturday 24 April our Year 4 Class Representatives, Cleo and Preeya coordinated a dinner for Year 4 Mums at Jamar’s Kitchen. Keenly attended, it was a wonderful event that was enjoyed by all. We look forward to hearing of the success of the Year 4 Dad’s Dinner and Reception Dads Drinks events to be held next month.

The Athlete’s Foot – School Rewards Program

Wilderness School Parents and Friends Association have joined the Athlete’s Foot School Reward Program.

Next time you are shopping at your local Athlete’s Foot shoe store, nominate Wilderness at the time of purchase and they will donate $5 from every pair of shoes purchased by our school families back to Wilderness School.

School rewards apply for every pair of shoes purchased across the complete in-store range of adults and/or kids sports, school, work and casual shoes.

The Parents and Friends Association look forward to the success of this program, and putting the money raised towards the benefit of our girls.
